Qutub Minar is the Tallest Minaret in the World

It has every reason to be on the must visit list. Qutub Minar has been declared to be the tallest minaret in the world which adds one more feather in the cap of Delhi. The entire monument is 73 metres tall and is made entirely of brick. Moreover, it is also one of the oldest surviving monuments in the country, built in the year 1192. The minaret has spiral stairs with 379 steps leading to the top of the minaret which unfortunately isn’t open to visitors. However, the architectural wonder can be well admired from outside and will definitely leave you mesmerized.
