Jalianwala Bagh incident occurred on 13^th April 1919, when the British officer General Dyer opened fire on the unsuspecting and peaceful gathering in the Gardens of Jallianwala Bagh. This resulted in a tragedy where about 400 people died and over 1000 people got severely injured. In the memorial of this tragedy, a huge monument has been built in the gardens of Jallianwala Bagh.
