Humanyu’s Tomb – Humanyu’s Tomb was built by his widow Hamida Banu Begam after 14 years of his death in the year 1569. This monument was constructed in a Persian style of architecture by the architect named Mirak Mirza Ghiyath. This red sandstone tomb stands in the center of a square garden. Several other Mughal rulers also buried here. This stunning monument comprises two lofty double-Storeyed gateways facing south and west.


Qutub Minar – This lofty 73-meters tall tower was built in the year 1193. This marvelous monument was constructed by three distinguished architects – basement of the tower was constructed by Qutub-ul-din Aibak, three stories of the tower were made by Iltutimish a successor of Qutub-ul-din Aibak and the next two floors were completed by Firoz Shah Tuglak. This marble and red sandstone tower is the highest tower in India of that bygone era. Qutub Minar is a five-storey tower with balconies decorated with honeycomb design, in which first three stories are made up of red sandstone and the other two are made of marble and red sandstone.

Qutub Minar is encircled by numerous significant monuments like the Iron pillar of Delhi, Alai Darwaza, Alai Minar, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Tomb of Imam Zamin, and Ala-ud-din's Madrasa and Tomb.


Red Fort – Red Fort was used by the Mughal dynasty for around 200 years. This grandiose fort was constructed in the year 1639 by Shah Jahan. This flamboyant fort houses several significant buildings like Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, Tasbih Khana, Hammam, Moti-Masjid, and Hayat Bakhsh Bagh.


India Gate – This 42-meter high war memorial is situated at the center of New Delhi. This commemorates was constructed in the of the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the World War I. In the year 1921, Royal Highness the Duke of Connaught laid the foundation stone of the India Gate and it was designed by the Edwin Lutyens. After Independence, Amar Jawan Jyoti (an eternal flame burns the day and night) was also placed there in the remembrance of the soldiers who martyr in the Indo-Pak War.


Lodhi Garden – This 15th-century garden houses the tombs of Sayyid and Lodhi rulers. This stunning piece of architecture comprises Bara Gumbad and Sheesh Gumbad in the middle of the Lodhi Garden.
